Once again, it is time for another order of FLR clothing to stock in the Resort Store. This doesn’t happen every year, in fact the last time was in 2016. This time I have found a good price on a Fruit of the Loom zip-up hoodie. I will be placing a small order to have one or two of each size in the store to sell. The price is expected to be $30 to $40 each. There are still some items in the store from last time, but no sweatshirts. If you would like to pre-order one of these, keep reading.
This is a simple one color hoody with a metal zipper and our sailboat logo embroidered on the left chest. I had a sample item sent to me and although it would not qualify as being extra stylish, it will be a nice thing to have on those (seldom) sunless days at the lake. The X-Large was maybe a little big on me, but it didn’t really shrink or fade at all in the wash. It is advertised as a heavy-weight, but I would say it is more of a mid-weight sweatshirt material (a lot heavier than a t-shirt). I am sorry but there are adult sizes only, ranging from adult small to adult 3X-large. Please click on the below link for more information:
As you can see, there are 3 colors advertized navy, black and grey (no, there is not a light blue available). I may be required to get them all of the same color, if I do it will be navy. They say they will ship the order in 7 days, but I expect it may take a month. I will be placing the order in the next two weeks, so there is a good chance they will be ready to distribute before the end of May.
If you (or anyone, for that matter) wants to add to my order, you are welcome to do so. Not only will you get a nice new hoodie advertising your favorite place to spend your summer, the increase in the quantity will help lower the price on the bulk order. You will also end up paying the same price that we get charged, without any store markup (not that it will be much more once it is put on the shelf). More importantly, you will be assured to get your size, and not have to choose from the limited quantity I am ordering.
If you contact me before April 20, I will add your order to mine. You will need to let me know how many you want, and for each one the following information:
– size – adult sizing only (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL)
– preferred color choice (Navy Blue, Black or Grey) although there is a chance that they all will be Navy Blue
Your order will need to be pre-paid at the price of $40(incl GST) and any excess over the actual price will be added to your account for your winter power invoice due in June.
