To all Annual Campers,
Fawcett Lake Resort is a summer community with a “family atmosphere”. It has always been a place for all types of people, from all types of backgrounds. These past few months have highlighted that it is also a place of people with all types of political ideologies. In an effort to make everyone feel welcome at the Resort, please remember that the lake is not an appropriate place for making a political statement or to start discussions that could divide otherwise life long lake friends.
Please remember that in the Resort Rules, it states that “No signs, flags, advertisements or political symbols may be posted or displayed on the Resort without the approval of management.” Note also that we typically do not give approval for politically motivated signs and flags, with the exception of national and provincial flags of Canada.
If you witness any presentation of political opinions on the Resort, then please report it to management. Fawcett Lake Resort does not have political opinions and instead welcomes everyone.
