Family Day Ice Fishing Derby

Howdy campers! It’s that time of year again for getting out to fish the hardwater and spend some family time at the lake. The derby will be held at the picnic shelter down by the beach this year. To register and fish is completely free. The only thing that I ask is that everyone over the age of 18 must donate a prize. The prizes don’t have to be extravagant, after all, it’s more about having fun.
Registration will take place at the picnic shelter from 9-10 a.m.
Fishing will be from 10-2. Based on the honor system (and maybe a photo) due to Walleye restrictions
Weigh in and prize distribution will be from 2-4 at the picnic shelter.
I was thinking that a barbecue and 50/50 draw from 2-5 might be a good way to raise a bit of money for the FLRCA. I hope that we get a lot more people this year, and continue to make this happen. Volunteers will be needed to help out, so if you are willing and able, please let me know.
All resort rules are in effect for the derby, so we all need to clean up after ourselves and keep all machines off the beach area.
