Canada Celebrations

Throughout the Resort

It is time to dress up your lot, your quad, your kids, your pets and your spouse and celebrate the birthday of our country.  These celebrations are always busy and include fireworks, a parade and other events so be prepared to have some fun with your lake friends.  If you have an idea for an event to help celebrate our country, or any event, please send it to events@fawcettlakeresort.com to get things started.

Annual Campers Spring Meeting – cancelled

The meeting is open to everyone, even those who do not have a lot (and won’t be allowed to vote). It will be outside so bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather.

Canada Celebrations – cancelled

This event has been cancelled this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions   Come one come all, to help celebrate the birthday of our country.  The red & white celebrations are a long standing tradition at the lake but they need you and your family to participate, as well as volunteer.   Dress up for the parade, and get ready for the fireworks, because the day promises to be full of fun with your lake friends.  If you have an idea for an event to help celebrate our country, or any event, please send it to events@fawcettlakeresort.com to get things started.

The Annual Meeting of all Annual Campers is when everyone gets a chance to offer ideas for events or projects for the entire summer.  Decisions will be made at this meeting, and issues will be addressed. The meeting is open to everyone, even those who do not have a lot at the Resort. It will be held outside so bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather.   ------This event is dependent on Covid-19 regulations in effect at that time. -------

Canada Fireworks (and Beach Clean-up)

The stars, planets & flaming exploding balls of fun have finally aligned and we are able to celebrate Canada Day long weekend with a bang! East Fawcett Lake Campers Club Fireworks display will be taking place at the main beach @11pm Friday July 2nd (in case of inclement weather Saturday will be the backup). We currently have enough money in the fund for an approximately 15 minute show. Red & White Parade

As you may have heard, the traditional Red & White Parade will be held at the lake again this year as part of our Canada Celebrations. Decorate your quads, bikes, side-by-sides ... and lawn mowers, to celebrate Canada's birthday in style. Hopefully, we will be able to meet at the top of Pike Peak (the North end of the Resort) to get organized and start the parade off at 2.00pm.
