Throughout the ResortThe Annual Canada Day Parade will be held Saturday, June 29 at 1:00pm. Decorate your ride and then meet at the North end of Narrows Way about 15 minutes early, or just sit in front of your lot and watch it go by
Canada Day Chili Cook Off
Beach Shack Picnic ShelterCanada day party and Chili Cook Off will be held Saturday, June 29. Have your Chili at the Beach Shack by 2.30pm or just come down and taste starting at 4.00pm (5$ donation all you can eat Chili) - Popcorn, cotton, candy - Please label your Chili with your name, lot number and what it is (mild, med, hot/spicy).
Canada Day Fireworks and jam session by the fire
Beach Shack Picnic ShelterCanada Day Fireworks will take place Saturday, June 29 at dusk on the Main Swimming Beach. Arrive early to listen to the jam session by the fire that starts at about 10:00pm. Bring your singing voice and musical instruments to join in. - Popcorn $1.00 - Cotton candy $2.00 - Beach clean up will be the following morning at 10:00am.
Beach Clean Up Day
Main Swimming BeachCome out and help clean up the beach after the mess left behind by the fireworks show the night before. The work will begin Sunday, June 30 at 11.00am (or earlier). Bring some gloves, buckets and a rake.

Annual Campers Meeting
Store Community BuildingThe Annual Campers Meeting is where we can meet new people at the lake, hear about current issues, and participate in the planning of events for the season. In addition to learning about the status of outstanding projects, it is a chance to make your own presentation or to just bring up issues to be discussed. If you would like to schedule an opportunity to talk or if you have a topic that you would like added to the agenda for the meeting, contact the Campers Club. Public Open House – logging work in our area
Store Community BuildingVanderwell Contractors will be doing some logging work this year near East Fawcett Lake. The Municipal District is holding a Public Open House discussion with representatives from Vanderwell, to ask for input that could help mitigate how this work will affect the nearby communities. Vanderwell has graciously agreed to work with the public when possible, to try to address these concerns. The meeting will be held in the Store Community Building at Fawcett Lake Resort on Friday, June 13 at 10.00am. Canada Red & White Celebration
Throughout the ResortThis year's celebratory parade and fireworks will be held on Saturday, June 28th, with more details to come. The theme of the parade will be 'Cartoon Characters'. As always, fireworks will be in the evening with community beach clean-up the following morning (Sunday the 29th). If you and your family plan on enjoying the fireworks, please consider helping to clean our beach as they create quite a mess!
