The route of Narrows Way north through the Resort\, then Fern Trail\, the Emergency Road and then Resort Road is approximately 2.5 km for the walkers. The route would finish back at the Store Community Building\, with potential speeding ticket for those who have clocked an overall speed in excess of 10 km/h. It’s that time of year again for getting out to fish the hardwater and spend some family time at the lake. The derby will be held at the picnic shelter down by the beach this year. To register and fish is completely free. The only thing that I ask is that everyone over the age of 18 must donate a prize. The prizes don’t have to be extravagant\, after all\, it’s more about having fun. \nRegistration will take place at the picnic shelter from 9-10 a.m.\nFishing will be from 10-2. Based on the honor system (and maybe a photo) due to Walleye restrictions\nWeigh in and prize distribution will be from 2-4 at the picnic shelter. \nI was thinking that a barbecue and 50/50 draw from 2-5 might be a good way to raise a bit of money for the FLRCA. I hope that we get a lot more people this year\, and continue to make this happen.
